# Craft Your Own AI with Personas

> Reusable AI Configurations

The "Persona" feature in **aj** allows you to save and reuse complex AI configurations. A persona is like a recipe for an AI: it bundles together a base model, a custom system prompt, a specific RAG configuration, and a curated set of tools into a single, reusable entity.

**How It Works:**

You can create and manage your personas from a dedicated screen in the app. When you create a new persona, you can configure it with:

* **A base model**
* **A custom system prompt**
* **A RAG configuration**
* **A set of tools**

Once you've saved a persona, you can start a chat with it from the persona's detail screen.
